How it works
14 picks. Win and you survive. Draw and you use one draw shield — if you have no shields left a draw eliminates you. Lose and you are eliminated. Last fan standing wins the cup.
The basics
Join or create a public or private contest
Hop into the global Main Event, join a public pool, or create a private pool with friends using an invite link.
Pick one team per round across 14 picks
Choose one team from each group of matches. Each team can only be used once across all 14 picks.
Picks lock at kickoff
All picks are hidden until kickoff — no one can see what others picked until the match begins. Once a round's first match starts, picks are revealed to the whole pool.
Draw shields keep you alive
🛡️ A draw uses one shield. When all shields are gone a draw eliminates you.
No reusing teams
During the group stage, you can't reuse a team within the same group of picks. In the knockouts, you can't reuse any team you've already picked.
Up to 10 entries (Main Event)
Run up to 10 independent entries — each with its own picks, survival status, and leaderboard row.
The format
Every pool on SurvivorCup uses the same format — one simple set of rules.
Survivor Format
Pick one team per round across 14 picks. Each team can only be used once. One wrong pick and you are eliminated. Last entry standing wins.
Pool Creator settings
Pool creators can tune their pool before the tournament starts. The Contest uses 3 draw shields by default.
- Format: Survivor Format (fixed for all pools)
- Max entries: 1–10 entries per player
- Draw rule: 🛡️ A draw uses one shield. When all shields are gone a draw eliminates you.
- Missed pick rule: Eliminated or random assignment
- Lives: 0–3 second chances
- Blind picks: Hide picks until lock
- Win probability: Show or hide on the pick screen
- Banner: Color and emoji
Settings lock once the first match of the tournament kicks off.
SurvivorCoins
Earn SurvivorCoins just by playing. You receive coins for surviving each round — with bonus multipliers for picking underdog teams with lower win probability. Coins are also earned through daily logins during the tournament and sharing your survival cards. Use coins to Ride With other entries you believe in.
Ride With
Every entry on the leaderboard can be ridden. Spot an entry making bold picks and surviving against the odds? Hit Ride With, spend 50 SurvivorCoins, and your username attaches to that entry publicly. If your chosen entry wins the cup, all riders receive a 5x coin payout. The Top Riders leaderboard tracks the best talent spotters in the community — because picking winners isn't just about your own entry.
